A couple of 30” shots tonight using ProRAW. Edits done in Lightroom. Not to bad considering it’s coming from an iPhone. I still have yet to perfect the edits. But I think this will be as good as it gets. I think if I can take ten 30” shots and stack them, the noise will be greatly reduced. I’ll have to try that soon. For now, 30” around iso 6400 is all I can do for now.

Can you post your editing values here? I’m trying some as well and want to see if I get similar results.

Cool!!!! I used the app “Even Longer” in star trails mode for a [ten minute exposure] and tracked the sky using my Skywatcher Star Adventurer. The app does shoot in Raw so I was able to get a clean image. 600 one second exposures stacked in app. It did great! The Andromeda galaxy is plainly visible. Lots of stars visible as well! It’s not really a great astronomy app for Milky Way photos but will do well for star trails. The trees are blurred due to the tracking. The second image is a zoomed in screen shot. Much cleaner than a 30” night mode image.
