After a couple of days with the MBA, istat pro was showing 95% battery health. WTF???

However, after doing the full charge, unplug, then reboot routine, the battery health now shows 98%. Very weird.

I had the same problem with my old MB. I opened it at 94%...calibrated it and it was back to 100%.

Mine was too, but should be fine after a battery calibration. Check Apple's site on the procedure.
 
I calibrated today. According to coconut, my battery's capacity is at 94% (4917/5200).

But it also says my MBA is 122 months old.
