More efficient podcast downloads

I have a JB iphone4 with 3G unrestrictior.
I use the iPod app to download podcasts but I find it so inefficient as I have to check each one separately. Is there an easier way without having to sync with my PC?

I'll have to admit that I'm also looking for an easier way ... and was in fact thinking about posting the same question today.

It's a pain to go into my iPod app and click on "Search for more Podcasts" and be redirected to iTunes just to find out if there are new podcasts to download.

There are apps like Podcaster and iCatcher
search the app store for 'podcasts"

Look for an app called InstaCast, by far the best. It's what Apple should build in to iOS.
