Sounds like Apple is internally preparing to compromise with anti-trust calls by making more apps accessible via the app store
Curious, under what circumstances do you want to make viewing your own photos on your own phone more difficult? And, if there’s photos that you don’t want to see anymore, you can just delete them, right?Or make Hidden Photos in Photos app Face ID-protectable without having to wait for iOS 15.9 or iOS 16
The reviews on the App Store will be a black hole, too. The biggest difference from feedback is that people will get to see all the other folks that are in the black hole with them.Their feedback site is already like a black hole, i doubt any constructive review of their Apps in their AppStore will get any attention.
Seeing what users love or hate about the essential functions of your device seems like fairly useful info to me. For example, look at how users have taken a dump on the stock podcasts app. Maybe now Apple will be able to make it good.lol rating non-replaceable Apps makes no sense!
I hope that's a sign of compartmentalisation of iOS, eg. separating Safari as a separate app that can be updated independent from iOS updates.View attachment 1881312I wonder why it gives the option to download even though Safari is already installed? ?
Yeah, I find the reviews pretty much anywhere else more useful. There’s only so much you an say in a blurb on the App Store, but you can find pages and pages of comments in forums that provide much better information.I guess this is a nice touch, but I can't think of a time when I found reviews useful. Looking at the reviews for basically any app and its a mix of obviously paid off goons, people who can't use a phone, people who are screaming about politics and general nonsense.
