More iCloud storage space by linking Family sharing?

I am nearing my 2TB limit with iCloud storage because I have a large photo album. If another member of the family also pays for iCloud storage if we link via Family sharing would the overall space available increase or not?

Nope. Maxes at 2TB even with all family slots used. I have a 2TB family plan too. But we are only using 328GB. I have 52,000 photos and 2000 videos and my library is under 95gb. Can’t imagine 2tb!
