More Icons Per Screen?

Is there anyway to squeeze more than 16 icons into a single screen/page? Say I wanted more small icons to make 25 icons per screen/page? Is there an app for it?

You can jailbreak your phone and make your icons smaller and squeeze them into five rows of five instead of four rows of four. That way you have 25 apps per screen instead of 16. 30 if you include the dock.
 
If you've done the jailbreak, the apps you need are FiveIrows and FiveIcolumns (or five column springboard or FCSB, not sure what exactly it's called now). Just search Cydia for five and they should be in the results.

I use the small icon theme Matte Nano.

I know this has been asked before: Has anyone found a way of getting 5 or 6 apps per row 'WITHOUT' jailbreaking on an iPad? There is so much wasted space.
 
I have no reason to jailbreak, just add the extra apps. Springtomize 2 is a Cydia app. I read you can add it without jailbreaking., but can you download the app and will it work?

Then jailbreak just to add more icons per page.

I'm not aware of a way to do that. I don't think it's possible.
 
I've not come across anyone who has managed to add a Cydia Tweak without jail breaking first.

You say you have no reason to jb.

Sounds to me like you have !
