hmm well the mind reading part of my brain isn't working today unfortunately... 🙁

you have a macbook, and it's required at your school to have a macbook. What is the problem? And how can we tell you how much the repairs are if you don't tell us what's wrong? I'll take the first guess. Bob, I bid $126.43 for the repairs. 😉

the actual problem

the problem is that the actual screen isn't broken, but under the screen is cracked and it makes it hard for me to see anything. my concern is if applecare will pay for it.

I'm gonna say scrap the whole MB and get a new whitebook @ 999, then minus for student and that's what $950? 😀

even if i tell them i didn't drop it which is 100% true?

I still don't know what the hell you're talking about - I'm guessing screen damage of some sort.

Can you maybe make a small attempt to actually describe (a) the damage to the system and (b) the circumstances leading up to said damage, so we can try to answer your question in a more helpful manner?

As I said in your other thread (and this thread should be locked/deleted) screens don't spontaneously crack.

You or somebody else did something to it and broke it, sorry duder.
