More Notification Center Widgets

The new notification center has the potential to be my favorite upgrade in the new iOS. What it lacks is, MORE WIDGETS!!!!

or am I missing something? Is there a way to download more from the apps store like you can with a mac?

If not does anyone know if this will be an option in the future?

Widgets are not downloadable. As of now, there are only two, both from Apple. It may or may not be a future update to allow 3rd party apps.

In the future, try the search bar for answers. This has been discussed a lot. Just a friendly headsup!
