Ok, my friend wrote me back after I gave him some suggestions, can anyone deicpher this??

Sorry my e-mail was a little confusing, but I'm
pretty much an idiot/virgin when it comes to Macs. Her computer is two
rooms away from the router, so I don't think I would be able to run a
cable throughout the place without it looking really goofy. The router I
have works fine, it's the receiving part that's screwed up. It's my
understanding that the AirPort Express Base Station (we'll call it the
"APE") (looks like a slightly larger version of the ipod charger) is used
basically as a router. Well (geez, now I'm confusing myself), I already
have a router and thought perhaps there was a way to use the APE as a
vehicle to receive the signal from my router, then plug an ethernet
cable into the APE and run the wire from the APE (I think this port on
the APE is actually used to hardwire the cable modem into the APE) into
the computer. I'm sure I'm trying to invent Frankenstein, but I thought
it might work. If this doesn't work, then I can easily return it to Best
Buy and pick up something that would receive the wireless connection from
the router. I'm probably still not making sense, am I? Joey
