More power to TB>FW?

is there any "USB supported" TB fw adapters?

My audio interface is not getting enough from TB>FW adapter which is rather annoying, i was thinking i could somehow boost it by using another USB port to power it.

Don't think you can, it gets the power from the active connection, not from another connected cable.
If it has an external power option I would use that one to power the device.

It has, but it needs more than USB provides. :/ so I always need a power adapter to lug around with me.

This is the first time since I got the retina that I'm annoyed by it.
