I'm going crazy...
I've got to stop reading these rumor pages. I've been waiting for the updated aluminum Powerbook 15" since the beginning of the year, when the rumors started.
If Apple chooses to put nVidia video on their new Powerbooks, I for one will be purchasing an older Powerbook 15" with the ATI chipset. I have a 15" flat panel iMac with the nVidia chipset, and am NOT happy with its performance -- especially how poorly it deals with video.
As far as a 2X DVD burner, haven't you all seen the firmware upgrade that makes the DVD burner in the current Powerbooks into a 2X burner?
In reference to video memory, more than 64MB is probably overkill for these LCD displays. 128MB may still be "reasonable" but 256MB is just eating up battery power with little, if any, performance increase.
