I was wondering if anyone has any guides or a DIY tutorial on upgrading to 1gb or more *if possible* on a powerbook G4.

and if anyone has any good places that sells them or websites?

note: i tried searching here and on google but I get a ton of results for "memory upgrade" for people ordering new macs and upgrading the memory through apple.

thanks!

Check out this article from Apple demonstrating how to install RAM into a Powerbook. It's really easy, even if you haven't much experience of installing RAM. The hardest bit is getting the right screwdriver required to remove the memory door on the bottom of your Powerbook. You NEED a #0 Philips Screwdriver, the screws are that small.

I'd recommend Crucial for buying RAM, there's even a helpful guide to help you select the right RAM for your system.

Good Luck!
