Maybe I'm imagining this, but for the life of me it seems that ever since I installed the iOS6 Beta, my "@me.com" email account has just been deluged with SPAM emails advertising everything imaginable.

Has anyone else gotten this same impression? I'm curious.

Nope. No increase in spam. I'm curious you don't blame iOS 6 for this do you?

Certainly not directly, but perhaps very indirectly through some exposure of some kind of user list, etc?

I've been writing software since LBJ was the President, so I surely wasn't saying iOS6 was causing the problem, but the stark coincidence in timing just struck my "Hmm" chord.

Is the spam being caught or appearing in your inbox?

Tons of spam on my .mac account since the outage the other day.

I wonder because of the outage if some how our email address were hacked or stolen. Its just very strange that all of a sudden Im getting slammed with tons of spam that just started.

Exactly the same for me.

It seems that something broke in their spam filter that day. Before that, I never had any spam reach my iCloud inbox, it was always automatically put in the Junk folder, now I get 3-5 spam message a day.

Looking at my inbox in Mail on Lion it seems that those get flagged as junk while still being in the inbox (but they're not flagged on my iPhone running iOS 5) and not being moved to the Junk folder.
