More SPAM email after installing iOS6?

Certainly not directly, but perhaps very indirectly through some exposure of some kind of user list, etc?
I've been writing software since LBJ was the President, so I surely wasn't saying iOS6 was causing the problem, but the stark coincidence in timing just struck my "Hmm" chord.
Oh ok, so you are using the web interface not downloading into Apple Mail. Yes, I guess there is not much you can do.

Wow, the same thing happened to me. All of a sudden I got tons of bs emails that I never use to get, it's strange to say the least
Interesting. Perhaps I jumped to the wrong conclusion due to the timing, since I installed the beta maybe a day before the outage.
The volume of crap I'm getting is astounding.

I wonder because of the outage if some how our email address were hacked or stolen. Its just very strange that all of a sudden Im getting slammed with tons of spam that just started.

Exactly the same for me.
It seems that something broke in their spam filter that day. Before that, I never had any spam reach my iCloud inbox, it was always automatically put in the Junk folder, now I get 3-5 spam message a day.
Looking at my inbox in Mail on Lion it seems that those get flagged as junk while still being in the inbox (but they're not flagged on my iPhone running iOS 5) and not being moved to the Junk folder.
