What is the probability that the IPP versions go up to 512 for storage? I realize that its anyones guess but ...

I don't think Apple will release a 512GB option this March. Ya never know, but I wouldn't bet on it. I believe they'll add other things, not the least of which is the rumored bezel-less 10.5" iPad pro along with faster chips. I'm wondering if Apple will move to a usb-C port instead of the lightning port as well as getting rid of the audio jack like in the new iPhone 7.

Very excited for this iPad pro update.

I'd be surprised if we saw a 512gb version in March, although I'd love one. What I'd love even more would be 256gb options for the iPad mini and iPad Air, or at least an iPad in the 7.9" form factor with that storage option.

Apple added 128gb iPads in January 2013 - http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2013/01/29Apple-Increases-iPad-with-Retina-Display-to-128GB.html.

They added 256gb iPads in March 2016 - http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2016/03/21Apple-Introduces-9-7-inch-iPad-Pro.html

Based on that pattern, I'd expect a 512gb iPad in slightly more than 2 years, i.e. Early 2019.
It's funny...now that i have all this extra storage I've wanted for years, I've moved onto the cloud for most things.

Probably unlikely. Just curious, why would one need half a terabyte on an iPad? Not being sarcastic, just wondering.
I could fill that up with just manga/comics alone. Additional usage may include multiple complete TV seasons and large lossless music collection. :)

More storage means higher margins for Apple, but I am not convinced there is sufficient demand for so much space to warrant such a model.
