Apple has added frameworks for a number of new shows from different networks on the iTunes Music Store. At the time of this posting, most of listings did not have shows available for download, but the following shows have appeared in iTunes:

The N - South of Nowhere (Season 1)
SOAPnet - Soapography (Season 1)
Nickelodeon - SpongeBob SquarePants (Season 1), Dora the Explorer (Season 1), Zoey 101
MTV - Beavis and Butt-Head, Laguna Beach, Wonder Showzen, Gauntlet 2, My Super Sweet 16 (Season 1-2), Jackass, Punk'd (Season 1-3)
Comedy Central - South Park (Season 1-2), Drawn Together (Season 1-2), Best of Comedy Central Stand-Up
ABC Family - Wildfire (Season 1-2)

As previously noted, Disney has also included a number of new short films as well.

Apple is getting big

Apple is getting big lately. It is nice to see that they are finally getting lots of mainstream attention and coming out with lots of new stuff. I cant wait to see what they come out with in the next few years.

Where is The Daily Show !!!

Love the show! But I can't help think it wont happen. I say this because unlike other shows, this one is on 4 times a week. It would be great if we could get them cheaper since there are more shows. This is actually also the reason they dont have a dvd setl; there are way to many episodes. I know they have the campaign dvd, but that is just a compilation clips with at theme.

Even if there were a NZ iTMS you wouldn't get the TV shows. They are strictly US only.

I live in Norway and can buy all the music I want, and not one single video. What a bummer.

Where's the videos for non-US users? Come on, let's have it!

My sentiments exactly. I've downloaded a couple of the Pixar shorts and that's pretty much exhausted the selection for the UK iTMS. There was suggestions that Apple was going to get the BBC involved but looks like that either isn't happening or is taking much longer to sort out. That the US is getting access to more content is great and all but a lot of users are missing out here. That I can't simply buy from the US iTMS is considerably annoying since I actually want to do so.

does someone know...?

how the international licensing works for TV..?

this is the reason i never go too worked up by the mac mini / dvr rumour. if they can't even get the worldwide rights for old tv shows, then how big globally can a potential movie / tv store, hooked up to a new dvr, really be..? i understand we're still at the early stages of apple and iTMS doing TV / Films, but i'm sure they want to be able offer something on an international scale as soon as it's viable. they get a lot of attention in tech / news media globally, but that's because their new products (desktops, iPods, software) are of interest to everyone.

back to my question. is an international deal on TV / Film impossible..? if so, i don't see a DVR anytime soon.

yeah the pricing model for the daily show needs to be different. i recall jon saying they take 6 weeks a year off which means 184 shows a year, at a $1.99 that's more expensive than basic cable for a year. plus they're not really things you want to re-watch. i'd love to see a subscription service $39.95 up front gets you a year of the daily show.

The Disney shorts are no longer on iTMS UK!
Yeah the Australia one's were funny last night. They weren't available in the country, however today they're back up and happy. Was hoping they were updating it but it doesn't appear to be the case.

Aww crap! I just accidentally bought season 2 of South Park.

How does someone accidentally buy 18 episodes of South Park you ask? I have no idea. It involves 2 days without sleeping, an eagerness to see if all this new content is available for purchase yet, and a trigger-happy set of hands hopped up on caffeine.

Oh well, maybe I'll watch South Park instead of buying food this week.

WooHoo Rejoice!

Who doesn't love Jason from Laguna Beach--mega hot.

Has anyone else bought too much video from the store that their iPod has become video-only?

So the following shows are available via iTMS from MTV: Beavis and Butt-Head, Languna Beach, Wonder Showzen, Gauntlet 2, My Super Sweet 16, Jackass, and Punk'd.

Did the deal between MTV and Microsoft not include TV shows? And is Urge gonna be pretty well DOA now?

P.S. Yay for South Park!

P.S.S. Oh, and The A-Team is also available now...

Woot! I was saving my iTunes gift card for better shows and now we got some! All the hip girls at my school will love having laguna beach on there 'pods.

Ok, that's it! I officially hate iTunes and Apple!!!!
I have been tempted to start getting Monk after the free episode and then they start offering Beavis and Butthead and Southpark!!! I only have so much money!!!
Apple stop taking my money!!!!

so they offer MTV content after all; does it mean the URGE thing is still born ?

...also, join my name to the list of non US unhappy Mac fans that cannot enjoy the iTVS revolution...

Nice, a lot of those are Viacom networks, so CBS can't be far behind. Apple will have deals with the big 3 networks, grab MTV programming even while MS brags about Urge, and hopefully close the loop by getting Fox shows soon (yeah, I want 24 too)
