moshi mini display to hdmi 13inch macbook pro

hey guys, i recently purchased the moshi mini display to hdmi adapter for my 2011 macbook pro 13 inch. everything works including the audio but i do notice one problem. every 15min or so the tv screen would automatically refresh which makes watching movies very annoying. i tried to mess with the display settings but i cant seem to fix it. i used to use the vga adapter and had no problems. is there a way to get rid of this annoying random refresh from the tv?? thx for the help.

Could it be the computer going to sleep, then suddenly waking up?

I know my Windows machine used to do this.
