I've seen apps from 99cent up to about 20 dollars. My friends have been telling me that they have seen an app of around 500$?!!! Is this true or are they pulling my leg? Has anyone seen a really really expensive app, if so, how much?

What happened? Did Apple pocket the money or gave it back to people who bought it?

Two or three people got a refund because they said they "accidentally" purchased it, Apple pocketed their 30%, leaving something like $5600 (I think) for the developer.
