IN ISCARIOLAND, EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS TERRIFYINGLY TERRIFYING.

MSN in this part of England.

No-one uses any others because their friends don't, but I use AIM and Skype because I talk to people from America, and I know others who use Skype.

MSN has typically been the only thing to really cause me any unexplainable problems on my mac. Typical Microsoft.

MSN with the teenagers and latecomers to IM

for those being around from the beginning of IM it's mostly ICQ (thus my friends are all ICQ)

It's clearly AIM in America.

Really? On the other forums I'm on all the Americans are on MSN.

Infact it seems to me (on a forum full of Australian, UK and US folks) - everyone has MSN. Some have AIM. Nobody has ICQ. Skype used rarely.

Where I am, its AIM. I.m America, but I'm willing to admit its very possible that off the East Coast, we'll see other apps. For East Coat, I'd say for AIM.

I'd say Skype has a following of people who want it to be bigger, and like to video chat. I'd don't see much MSN love. Google Talk gets a little love here, but not much.

For American teens, it is AIM all the way. No one has MSN or Yahoo Messenger.

In Dubai, it's MSN. Hands down, no contest. However, I use AIM too, 'cause of the places I've lived. I tend to catch up with alot of overseas people, so Adium is good, 'cause I can have both of them on at the same time, haha.

Canada- MSN. I asked every person I know if they had AIM and their response was "What's that?"

Or Skype.
Or YIM.
Or ICQ
Or Gtalk.

I've NEVER met anyone that doesn't use AIM  AIM rules in America as far as I know, at least in Pennsylvania. I don't really care what I use, as long as it works, haha

For me now its none! Updated my routers firmware and bam, IM apps don't work even with the right ports open. This should be fun to fix...

I don't know about you guys, but I use *only* Adium :p

Actually I have all three of the big ones: AIM, YIM, and MSN and have them all channeled through Adium, so I never really know who's using what. Skype is the only thing I've found though that will [almost] seemlessly video chat from my Mac to my Boss's XP.

I used to prefer YIM, when I used just one on it's lonesome, but AIM was what the majority of my connections had, so I had use that also... darn. AOHell...
