Hey guys I just wanted to see if you could chime in on this for me. Many themes like sounds for SMS, black nofitcations bars or removing pinstipes to name a few just don't seem to work.

The developer doesn't state that they do not work for iOS5. Would these themes and sounds not work because of the software version or am I being an ignorant fool?

Unless the tweak specifically says it's for ios5, you have to assume it doesn't work for ios5.

I just started with iOS 5 also, it seems like only a few things have changed. Most things from old themes loo like they will work, but a few things will need updating. Like I noticed the naming for the Mail app when from icon@2x to Icon@2x, or vice versa, the capitalization changed is all.

Anyway, I'm just starting to get into theming iOS 5, so hopefully someone will be kind enough to let us both know of any major changes.

Yes, I would love to know. So far the the 5 sound themes I have downloaded do not work at all, which is disappointing. Also many of the smaller tweaks that have even stated work for iOS5 sadly do not for the most part.

I don't won't to sound like I am complaining, because I am truly greatly for all the hard work devs put into this, just excited then a little let down that many of things I want don't even work.

I guess I'll just have to be patient for updates.

Until a few weeks ago there weren't any untethered jailbreaks so I'd say it's safe to say it will take a little bit before the themes catch up.

Especially for theme designers who weren't able to test on their own devices, unless they went tethered.

I'm sure in the next few weeks you'll see, at least with the big ones, a huge influx of iOS 5 updates.

how about winterboard themes for you guys? it seems like most winterboard themes are not working.

even though in description it says iOS5 compatible

Yeah, that's what I kind of figured. Well it's time to play the waiting game I suppose.

Yeah, most winterboard themes are not working well at all..

I still have only tried a few different things, but the themes I have tried are working fine. Even an old sound theme I had pieced together a long time ago seemed to be OK. If you are having trouble with Winterboard themes that do say iOS 5 compatible, I would go back and make sure you are doing everything right. I installed Legacy Pro last night from Cydia, and its working great. I added some of my old sounds and a great widget by Lexs and everything is working fine.

Maybe I should be a little more honest.. I do have a good bit that are working fine.. But for those that do work fine, I also have many that do not..

It's quite okay though, I don't mind waiting for an update.
