I really doubt it will be then as MacWorld clashes with CES, they want all the press coverage that they can. Apple'll release it another time even if it's a week later/earlier.Eidorian said:

Also Apple has to chose, when they want to present it first, according to what features they implement. Tiger brought a lot of low level frameworks to be used by applications like all the "core" stuff and spotlight. So application developers had to be informed early, so they can let their applications make use of these new features. We don't really know, what is coming for leopard, but things might be a bit different here, which means they can announce the features later. But this is pretty much speculation.
Then I thought the general expectation was for Leopard to be released end of this year or beginning of next, which might still work out, if they announce it now.
