Motion detector app

Like the title says, I'm looking for an app to detect and record motion that happens in the vicinity of my rMBP. I'm going to be using it as a security measure for my room in my shared apartment. I'd like it to use the iSight camera, and store the videos locally. Automatically uploading them to dropbox would be a plus, but isn't necessary. Thanks for any recommendations.

I had an app Periscope that seemed to do what you want. Since I am not a heavy user of this app, I can't advise more. Good luck!!
