I know this sounds noobish... but I have an older mac, It's not connected to the internet so I have to download updates from my PC. My questions is, can I update my mac from a virtual ISO, (virtual CD) cause my DVD burner is broken =[

??

I'm confused. You say that you want to update your OSX installation? You can download standalone installers for each update. Is this what your talking about? What is contained in the iso?

You can't really expect someone to answer your question if they are confused lol. 😀

As it's an .iso, I take it that it's a complete Tiger install as opposed to 10.4.11, for instance?

If it was 10.4.11, you could just download the standalone installer (as already mentioned) and transfer it to your computer. It doesn't come as a .iso file so should install without a problem.

It's the full installation of Tiger. (I lost my install disk XD) so I dloaded it. To install it, do I have to boot from disk?
