Mountain Lion features on Lion

Is there any way to get any of those cool Mountain Lion features on Lion right now? I am specifically interested in iMessage. Does anyone know if I could use I message on my iMac with Lion right now, and not have to wait until Mountain Lion comes out... I might not even be able to afford to upgrade when it does come out, depending on how much it costs. It was SO cool that Lion was only $30.

Anyway, yeah...iMessage with Lion 10.7.x is it possible? And if so, how do I do it?

meta messages... do I have to be on the developers program to use that?

There is also an app in the Mac App Store called To-Do Lists that can sync with reminders.
