Mountain Lion - Messages: Don't show groups and offline contacts

Hey everyone,

In Messages, under the view menu, there are options to view offline contacts and to organize contacts into groups. I'd like to turn these options off... There's just one problem: they're greyed out.

Can anyone tell me how to get around this?

You have to go to >Window>buddies

(I wondered the same thing...just had to look around.) 🙂
