Mountain Lion question

Hi,

I downloaded Mountain lion to a external HD. Everything seems to be working ok. After I downloaded it, I was asked if I wanted to copy everything over from my HD and I checked later. How do I get back to that screen, so I can bring all my settings and everything else over?

Is it just me?

... Or is the reboot process extremely slow after the Mountain Lion install?

My laptop is now in the same room as my Time Machine (early generation, so it's WiFi is slow in the next room), and it seems to be "thinking" forever about booting back up. (Like ... Overnight!)
