Mouse and keyboard gone haywire

Hi,

My mac keyboard and mouse have stopped working.

With the mouse it will now only left click, even when pressing right click. And the keyboard letters are all mixed up (if I press "f" it will show a "t" or act as if I've pressed "enter" or something).

I have tried with 2 mice and the problem persists (only have one keyboard). So I assume it's the software.

Has anyone else had this problem?

The annoying thing is I can't even restore to factory settings as the computer doesn't recognise me pressing command and r during the startup.

Have no idea what to do!

Any help really really appreciated.

Try a different keyboard, then go through bootup again...
