The left side of the mouse clicker on my macbook is hard to push, and doesn't work well sometimes. It's out of warranty does anyone know what this will cost to fix?

Anything I can try to do to fix it? I took out the battery and cleaned, and cleaned the whole macbook, nothing really.

my wife's macbook is having the same problem show up- have not been able to remedy it either.....It is the side that is used 99% of the time as she is right handed- maybe just wearing weird? Anyone else have this? Hers makes a louder clicking sound.

Is there any evidence of battery swelling? It's not uncommon that when the battery begins to swell it'll put pressure on the underside of the trackpad button making it difficult to click.
