Changing users ftw

What fixed it for me was switching users. I have the users icon in my menu bar and I just changed users and then came back and it was fine...extremely frustrating though.

YES! I've tried every other hint in here, nothing worked... From safari, to flash, accessibility options, changing displays, removing monitor cable, everything (except hard reset)!

Changing users did work! Thank you.

I'll leave two hints if you can't change user using keyboard:

- CMD + SPACE for spotlight, type in "users & groups" or just "pref" for the Preferences Panel
- (FN) CTRL + F7 for toggling access to TAB through options (use FN if your keyboard has one).

If you can't use these two hints for doing the job, you're better off with hard reset! ;-)

2 monitors

It seems the problem appear when you use more than 1 monitor. I have tried to put the dock in between 2 monitors and it works. That is, if your second monitor is on the right hand side of your original monitor, then pit your dock on the right instead of bottom.

Very Strange,
I've had this for quite a while on my mac pro at work running 10.8.4.
Strangely I switched to a mac mini and it has the exact same issue. Tried different mice, removing extension cord, all kinds of stuff.
Force quitting flash seems to be the best way to restore it.
Is the cursor supposed to disappear when you type? Mine always does, even now as I type this. But as soon as I move the mouse it comes right back as expected.
I'll have to compare with my mac at home.

Absolutely flash player. Force quit and all will be good.

I have a particular site that I use all day for work that uses flash. When it's open in Safari my cursor disappears in all apps. When I open the same site in Firefox there are no issues.
It's Autodesk's 'Backburner Monitor'.

Absolutely a Safari/Flash bug.
