Hey guys i'm running Tiger on my Mac Mini and i've been having some problems with my cursor. i have to click on the side of my screen in order to make my dock come up. I also have to hold down my left-click to keep my pull down menus open. Finally, when i am in certain programs where the cursor changes appearance (ProTools) it wont do so... I recently had a power outage while my CPU was on and I updated shortly there after. I'm not sure if either of these things could have caused this problem. Any help would be great.

Run it from your original disk that came with your machine. That should fix that issue. So you want to install the disk and shut down your machine, then reboot holding down the 'C' key which should make it boot from the cd. Then run disk utility from there. Let us know how you make out......
