I have a dual 1ghz g4 mirrored door with 2gig ram running 10.4.8. I have a Kensington optical mouse and a logitech keyboard.
The problem: the mouse will sporadically act as if it has two right buttons and no left button, resulting in getting a drop down menu when i push either button. That used to be remedied by restarting the computer, but not this time. On top of that, the keyboard will not type anything but wacky symbols when two or more keys are pushed at the same time. I have tried restarting the system many times to no avail.
BTW, I did have this system cleaned and osx reinstalled not more than about a month or two ago. The same problem was happening before that.
One other wierd thing, I have an external USB 160gig hard drive that is quite strange. It will take a while to show up on the desktop when the computer is restarted, and sometimes it won't show up at all.
Any help? I'm pulling my hair out.
