Hello guys!
I have to ask for your help.
I use MBP 16" 2019 (Intel) with couple TB3 docks: Mokin 13-in-1 (DP + Ethernet + USB3 + USB2 and couple other ports I do not need) and j5create JCD 389 modular dock.
In both cases I have MBP closed, so LG Ultrafine 5k (3440x1440 @ 60 Hz actual resolution) is the only display.
Apple wireless keyboard is fine, but Logitech MX1100 mouse, while its dongle is connected to USB 2.0 on dock, appears to be a bit unpredictable - just like sometimes computer loses connection to it. If I also plug in external USB 3.0 HDD, mouse gets unusable - it loses movements, clicks etc.
If mouse dongle is plugged into TB3 port everything is fine. However, It is a bad choice for me as I often have to go somewhere and take MBP away, so unplugging just dock is a much greated idea.
Did anyone had similar issues - laggy / uncontrollable mouse plugged into dock ?
Thanks in advance!

USB 3.0 can certainly cause interference with Bluetooth. One option that SOMETIMES helps, is get a USB extension cable (a short one, a foot or two) that moves the Bluetooth transceiver away from the dock and more toward the mouse.

These aren't TB3 docks. They are USB3 docks.
Is USB3 capable of running 4K@60Hz ?!
Thanks for your link, seems to be the clue!

Okay, I am now trying with dongle attached by 20 cm USB 2.0 extender.
In both cases mouse and dongle are within 1m range.

Despite it's not aesthetically flawless, this solution (attaching dongle via USB2.0 cable) seems to work fine. At least I cant see any inconsistency in mouse movement while performing Time Machine backup...
Thanks a lot, guys!
