I have a macbook air and my mouse takes a year to left click in games. It's really annoying and I cannot find a fix for it anywhere. It works perfectly everywhere but games.

Mouse left click lagging a lot in games

USB or wireless mouse? Or, do you mean clicking on the trackpad?
I guess you mean mouse, because the trackpad doesn't really have a left-side click, just a click.
Try changing the double-click speed in System Preferences/Mouse or trackpad pane.
The Double-click speed may be set on too fast, so try slowing it down. - OR, could be too slow, try closer to Fast.
May not make a difference, but worth a try.
If you are using an external mouse, try a different mouse, too.
