I have a Mac-Book Pro Retina it's 7, weeks old. And this week on two occasions the mouse pointer froze, couldn't move the pointer tried all sorts to get it moving; nothing worked, couldn't switch the computer off, 40, minutes of frozen screen before the screen turned black with the apple logo 0n it. eventually managed to turn the computer off, left it off! 15, minutes later it turned itself on; lid closed etc... I then typed in my pass code and the computer was back to normal? but today it happened again. I've booked an appointment at the apple store. anyone else ever had this problem with an Apple Mac-Book Pro Retina?

Sounds like you should take it to the Apple store to get it checked out. You could always try a clean install of OS X. Sometimes when my computer acts up I let it die and leave it off for a while, but I'm sure you can easily get this resolved at the Genius Bar

Thanks Zerka,
