Hi Guys

Recently when powering on my 2012 MBP my mouse pointer is very laggy, this happens even after the MBP has been off all night.. I have 16GB of RAM and a 256 SSD, so I wouldn't expect this problem really...

The lag does disappear after about 10 minutes or so, but is VERY annoying.

Any advice gratefully received

Is this occurring with a mouse or the trackpad? If a mouse (and its wireless) try changing the batteries or changing the surface, i.e., remove the mouse pad.

I've had issues similar to what you state from time to time with my mouse as the batteries fade

Can be both (Mouse and Trackpad) both with new batteries..

Wondering if my MBP is getting choked with rubbish, is there a good program that will kinda "Defrag"?? and is it necessary??
