Mouse Problems On XP?

When I boot into XP, the mouse will only move vertically, but in OS X it works fine. Has anyone else experienced this?

Wow that's pretty darn helpful.

To the OP: have you tried using an external mouse rather than the trackpad? Try that. If that works, maybe it's a trackpad driver issue? Check device manager on that one.

yeah i got this problem too. but it was an on-and-off situation; sometimes the trackpad would be fine and sometimes the trackpad would be problematic. however, i find that using an external USB mouse solves everything. 🙂 hehe. and i find that i can't right click on the ALL PROGRAMS to sort the names of the programs list. which is weird cos i can right click on everything else!
