mouse problems

I bought my imac in June/July timeframe. The other day my wireless mighty mouse stopped scrolling down (using the scroll ball). It still scrolls up and works otherwise. What are my options? Will Apple provide a replacement since I'm still under warranty?

It needs to be cleaned.

Go to Apple's support site and look up how to clean it.

I use a lint free cloth, like a clean cotton white t-shirt. I found its not that good with paper towels, at least in my experience. Hope they come out with a new mouse soon that gets rid of this slight irritation I have to deal with every couple of weeks and consumers seconds of my life
