I am new to Macs... well not new but returning after 15 years of pure PC use. I got a 2 gz MacBook with 2 gigs of RAM and love it. However there is one thing that is ruining my experience, the sluggish mouse. I have done some research and it seems OS X uses a bad acceleration algorithm for the mouse. The mouse feels inpercise, it does not move smooth across the screen but jumps just a tiny bit. The effect is that i have to over mouse and my wrist hurts after just a few minutes of using the mouse.

I have tried USBOverdrive. That did not seem to help. I have read that there are some mice you can buy that lets you use their drivers which overcomes the OS X problem. I was hoping someone could supply me with the make and model of the mouse they are using if they have found one to overcome this issue.

Thank you.
