Roll the ball upwards and the screen scrolls down and roll down to scroll up. Roll the ball to the right and the screen scrolls left and roll it to the left and the screen scrolls to the right. Maybe Apple is telling me it's time to buy a Magic Mouse.:)
 
You do know you can switch the scrolling back to SL style under system preferences?
 
In case anyone else is worried about this, I've found that I've adapted quite well after 30 or so minutes. It does seems odd when it happens, but it is similar to how the iPhone works and makes sense in its own way.
 
I thought this was a cool little update it seems only natural after a few minutes of playing around and navigating the system.
