I’ve been researching getting a mouse for my iPad. Best option I have found reviewed was the Logitech MX Master 3. Can’t say I’ve ever used it. I’ve been Razer everything for my desktop and laptops but realize that only certain mice work with iPad OS.

I won’t consider a Magic Mouse just because I hate how it feels.

Any recommendations?

I use the MX Master 3 across multiple devices, including 13" M4 - switching is easy - and really like it.

Kind of what I expected for feedback, I suspect this is where I'll end up. Thank you.

With the iPad, do you use the mouse along with a Keyboard, or just on its own? Do you find it practical to use? I am also thinking of getting either a mouse, or a Magic Trackpad to use with my iPad Pro M2 12.9".

I usually use it in conjunction with the Magic Keyboard when I want finer control of the cursor than the trackpad provides me or if I simply don't want to use the trackpad. I've also used it with a separate Bluetooth keyboard. I find it practical to use; I like the convenience of easily switching the mouse between my desktop, docked laptop, and iPad.

Tbf, all mouses work with iPadOS (so you can use Razer). But none of the other mouses that includes the MX Master 3 have access to the system that can help customize the use of those buttons (or actually use them).

I have a MX Master 3, but it’s not paired with the iPad. I know @sparksd uses it. And I can get by with the choppiness of scrolling on the MX Master 3… if I’m able to use the buttons. If anything, I’d choose a Magic Trackpad 2 over a mouse when using an iPad.

And I haven’t used MX Master 3 in a while on the iPad, so maybe it has changed. But there was no way to go back and forth on web pages using the buttons.

Thanks. Good to know that.

I prefer for ipad magic mouse, but usually a i used it max one hour, its maximal unergonomic. I have MX keys to but scrolling is laggy for me and cant use gestures. ….

1. Magic Mouse is objectively the best technical wise, both scrolling and gestures, if you can force yourself to actually use it.
There are some aftermarket cases or ergonomics addons that helps alot.

2. MX Anywhere 2 is a good option due to a fixed scroll function. Meaning the hardware scroll wheel acts the same no matter computer/ipad. (back/forth buttons don't work though)

3. MX Master, the scroll wheel are software driven, which there is no support/driver for in the ipad, which results a terrible scroll feel.
