I would like to move all my 2FA from one authenticator to the iOS authenticator, but I don't want to mess up the ability to log in during the process. Can anyone walk through the steps for a hotmail email for example?

Thanks in advance.

I just did all of mine. You need to log into the website you want to update, disable two factor for your old app. Then turn on turn factor again, and use the new option in iOS Passwords to link it. That’s it!

Did you have to delete the website from the other app then? Mine still points to the original app despite disabling and reenabling. Any ideas?

I deleted the original 2FA after the new code was linked to iOS Authenticator.

It’s possible the website you’re using allows multiple apps to use 2FA. Amazon is like this.
Appreciate the response. The first one I tried was Hotmail, but I think I will just wait a bit. It isn’t worth getting locked out of my account since I can’t guarantee it is switched over.

Thanks for your help.

For me, I logged out the website, then logged in, and when it got to the 2FA code, it came up same as how it does with Password auto fill.
