Is there any way to make a shortcut for or add a specific setting to the home screen? I use call forwarding when I am home (I forward cell phone calls to my home land line so I don't have 2 different phones ringing). That command is buried deep in the settings menu - would like to be able to get to it easier.

Nope. Only full blown applications are allowed to be on the home screen. Is there an app that could potentially do this, maybe. Look around in the App Store a little and see what you find
