I discovered that I can drag a file out of the title window bar. This is helpful if I am looking at a file in preview and need to copy into an email or something. However, is there a way I can drag this icon and it will move the location of the original file. For example I have a bunch of PDFs on my desktop and I am looking at them in preview and I would like to drag them into folders in my dock. Dragging the icon from the preview window bar works fine except it also leaves the file on my desktop so I have to go back and figure out which ones have been moved and need thrown away. ANy ideas?

I don't think it is possible, and it makes some sense as to why it wouldn't be. If you move a file while it's still open, the application doesn't know what you did with it. Try manually moving a file while it's open to see what I mean.
