Is it Possible to move the iPhoto Library to the second installed drive on my G5

I've just tried to move it

but when I select the Library to Open in iPhoto it does not appear in iPhoto

Yes. Launch iPhoto from the Dock while holding down the "Option/Alt" key. A box will pop up allowing you to browse you Mac and tell iPhoto where the Library now lives.
