Move pics from Camera Roll to Photo Stream

I had to turn off Photo Stream on my vacation because I was on a very limited amount of data. Now that I'm at a hotel with free wifi, I've turned PS back on so my pics will backup to iCloud and move to my other devices. But it's not happening. How do I get these pics in my Camera Roll onto Photo Stream?

How do I get these pics in my Camera Roll onto Photo Stream?

I'm not sure that you can. Only items added to camera roll while photostream is turned on get sent. Maybe email each picture to yourself and save the images from within the email to re-add to camera roll.

Photostream only works via a wi-fi connection anyway
