My wife’s Apple Watch 5 running 7.6.1 went crazy today. The move ring goes all the around very fast. It is up to 97,000 calories and still going. We’ve tried rebooting, resetting, setting up as a new watch and once it’s setup it starts spinning again. Anyone have any ideas?

My wife had the same issues on her SE...it would spin over and over. We were able to get it working by removing from iCloud and re-adding the Watch...however, it seems as though you already tried this. It may be worth a chat with Apple Support.

Interesting. What do you mean by “removing from iCloud”?

FYI - the linked article mentions NOTHING about health data recorded. Therein lies the biggest fault of Apple Watch and Health app on iOS that’s plagued it from the beginning.

your wife may loose previous health data.

By default, your health data is synced to iCloud, and stored on your phone.
If you backup your phone to your computer it must be encrypted in order to also backup health data.
If you fail both above, then you may lose health data…
