I have been planning to move to icloud after my iphone 3gs was swapped out at the apple store in covent garden. That boosted my confidence in the who apple thing.
The problem I have is that both my Macbook Pro (a work machine), and my Mac Mini (an old 2008 1gb Ram unit), neither run icloud.
I can get the ical working, but for the life of me I cannot get the contacts sorted, and so my stuff is split everywhere.
Help.
Choice I think I have.
- Upgrade mac mini (costing £120 for hardware + £25 for lion)
- Keep on with Google for cal and contacts, reminders and notes on icloud
- Move to Yahoo to get reminders and notes.
My email is another matter, something Im not overly fussed about at the moment, it's keeping my contacts and calendars in the same place.
