Move to iOS app

Does anyone know what folder or folders for the photos does this app scan and move over photos from Android to iOS?

Reason I ask is because I'd like to place all my photos in a folder on my Android device so that this app copies them all over. Cheers.

What app do you use?
I downloaded movetoios.apk in GG Play. After moving them to my iPhone 11, I manually establish a folder to save these pic.

I'm referring to the Move to iOS app that you download onto an Android device .
Since Android has multiple folders for images , I was wondering which folder the Apple app uses to copy from the Android device to iPhone.?

It copied all my photos (not in the form of a folder ) and saved in Rencent in iPhone Photos.

Just a guess, transferring these files to your PC, then move these folders to iPhone might work. But I have to say it's a little complicated lol

Yeah, thanks. I just wanted to know which folder the app copies from. I'm thinking it will be DCIM/Camera ?

If you're on Android, just upload them first to Google Photos (make sure you choose original quality) or Google Drive. Once you're on your iPhone, simply download the Google Photos app (or Google Drive, depending on how you upload it), and redownload your photos as needed to your phone. Plus you just made a cloud backup of your photos.

Thanks, I already use Google photos but not in original quality mode, have done so for years .
My primary reason to moving to iOS is to eventually ween myself of Google products and services.
Id like to be able to store all my photos in the internal storage of the iPhone and back them up manually to a windows PC.then maybe in the future use iCloud for the photos.
