Movie will not go into iMovie or be converted by Handbrake

Hello,

I have a .screenflow movie, it is just a test. I wanted to upload it to youtube, I waited 15 hours for it to upload, and it didn't work, so when I went to upload a different video through iMovie, it took 10 minutes. I wanted to try to do that with screenflow. So I got my .screenflow file, tried to put it in iMovie, and it won't accept it. What should I do to get it to work?

Okay I solved it, to whoever had this problem

You have to go to file>export then it will export as .mov to your desktop, then you can put it in iMovie then publish

you export from quick time right? is there any other way, since I don't have the pro version of quicktime, it won't let me export anything
