Moviebox iOS 8.1 (no jailbreak)

Is Moviebox really not a torrent protocol? Where is the stuff hosted and shared from then?

I am asking cuz people keep getting busted for using torrents over here like my cousin who had to pay 600€ for uploading while downloading an episode of modern family and the walking dead in the past so I am scared to use it lol

Previous post;
I've been using MovieBox for about 2 or so years now and it is awesome. It's run through a Russian site called VK that hosts all the Movies there.

But the Internet always says otherwise

Do remember that whichever app you use the streamed data will look to an observer like BitTorrent traffic (which it basically is, even if you are streaming rather than downloading) , and like BitTorrent traffic it can be easily traced to you unless you protect yourself using a VPN.

Don't believe me then. I know for a fact the movies come from VK.com after decompiling the app.

I apologize if this is a dumb question but how would you know you're having cache problems? And what would be causing them?

I have both popcorn time(until the 8.1 update) and movie box installed on my iPhone 6 unjailbroken.

I read posts on reddit from popcorn time users who we're having memory overload problems/crashing and suggesting that it was due to the cache over filling but there was no way to clear it if you weren't jailbroken and the built in cache delete button didn't seem to work!

I just assumed movie box worked in the same way; in that it saves the video files locally and would then face the same cache problem?

Working on my air 2 unjailbroken. Didnt realise you could get these sorts of apps without a jailbreak. Very cool.

Any other similar apps out there? This one seems so slow for me. The movies take a long time loading even though I have a 250mbps line

works amazing! people always have to complain about something.

Its slow because everyone in the world is using it!

I have a plex server I share with friends and fam. and if more then 4 people connect it slows down. I am on a 75/75 mb

WTF is wrong with you?
I just mentioned that for me it's slow or not working and asked for an alternative... if there exist one.

Love it.
But it seems to cache the entire movie and park it on the phone.
It would be nice if there was a "flush" button.

So when i delete a film, or finish a stream, it should auto delete any cached data, surely? Why do folks think it is not flushing th cache?

Can't get it to install on iphone 6 8.1. I tried changing the date to sept 20th and used this link http://www.pgyer.com/movieBox31

It works on older devices though. Any ideas?

Probably redundant but is there around the VPN issue? I tried the justfreevpn solution they offer to no avail

I would like confirmation of this too, too many conflicting information.

I prefer to stream rather than download but would still like an answer on whether the movie is being cached:confused:

p.s movies play fine on my iPhone 6, even on cellular (three) but I found the iPad app was slow and kept buffering (Sky Broadband via VPN).
